Today my mom and I went to Sally's Beauty Store to get her some hair dye. Let me just say it took alittle bit to long and I almost flipped my nonexistant weave at her. But anyway we found the right color and I ended up getting like two mini eyeshadows and two mini lipsticks. I've just recently started to dabble in the art of makeup. I wear eyeliner and a little eyeshadow -nothing too much but like "age appropriate"- to school sometimes.
Anyway that reminded me of how much I've changed in the past 1 or 2 years. I used to not really care at all how I looked and just threw stuff on since I went to a uniform school anyway. Around like 7th or 8th grade I started to be more girly and dress a tad bit more feminine (I went to a uniform school in middle school so wasn't that girly). Come to think about it I started being more "girly" when I started to watch RuPaul's Drag Race (but that's a whole 'nother post). But anyway I started to subscribe to fashion magazines, watch makeup tutorials on youtube, look up fashion tips, skin care etc. etc.
I know this post is one HOT mess but as I side note- today I tried a lemon and honey facial mask to help clear and cleanse my face and pores since I have very oily skin and suffer from breakouts ever since I can remember. After using it my face feels way smoother and softer and I will definetly try it again.
